When I was growing up I had two parents that did not like seafood at all. Anything that tasted fishy to them was out. This usually meant the only fish I was introduced to was processed fishsticks or processed canned tuna. So all growing up I figured I didn’t like fish either. Then a roommate introduced me to tilapia because it didn’t taste “fishy”. I liked it and was happy to find a healthy fish option… or so I though. Turns out it wasn’t the most healthy of options for me. Luckily now I love fish and usually one of these 5 nutritious and sustainable seafood items are on top of my list.
