Just the other day we were going on a family hike on a particularly (and unusually) warm day. It was beautiful and refreshing to be outside as a family!  While we were hiking my daughter liked to look at all the different plants. As a mother I of course worry about whether the plants are okay to touch or not and it’s a good thing as we happened upon some poison ivy. Luckily I saw it before my daughter could tough it, but it got me thinking that I should be better prepared next time!
